Cera (Joseph Nathaniel) Vandermark, formerly of Lexington, NC, passed away at her home on August 29, 2025 in Raleigh, NC.
Cera was born to Joseph Curtis Vandermark and Candace Hege Vandermark on January 28, 1999 In Lexington, NC.
Cera leaves behind a brother, Adam Xavier Vandermark and long time friend, Keland Rush, who has added to that brotherhood for many years. Together, they enjoyed music and gaming- competing with each other late into the nights.
Cera will be missed by those of us left behind, family and friends, here and in Raleigh. The family would especially like to thank her friend Annelise for being so kind and patient with us through all of this and we wish you healing and solace.
Cera was our walking enigma, fiercely independent and full of wonderful contradictions that made her so unique. She never chose to show the storm inside to the rest of the world. Smart, beautiful and so brave.
