Cesar Martin Mendez Mendez
It is with heavy hearts and deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Cesar Martin Mendez, who tragically left us on February 8, 2025 at the age of 24. Cesar was a beloved son, grandson, brother, nephew, cousin, and friend, whose life was full of promise and potential.
Born on April 16, 2000, in Albuquerque, NM, Cesar was a kind, compassionate soul who touched the lives of all who knew him. He had an infectious personality, always bringing joy and laughter to any room with his larger-than-life smile and infectious laugh. He was known for his deep love of friends, family, hiking and having a good time with his loved ones.
Though his life was far too short, Cesar was an amazing bright light that lit up any room he walked into. He will always shine like the north star, and his light will always guide us.
Cesar leaves behind his four parents, Reyna Mendez, Cesar Mendez and Franscisco Rosas, Stepfather, and Michelle Mendez, Stepmother. Paternal Grandfather Jesus Mendez, Maternal Grandmother Alma Reyna Ramirez. He was preceded in death by his Maternal Grandfather Benjamin Mendez and Paternal Grandmother Socorro Mendez. Cesar had six siblings, in which he was the second of the seven: Francisco Rosas Jr, Alondra Rosas, Javier Rosas, Daniela Rosas, Michayela Mendez and Zachery Mendez. He also leaves behind his beloved girlfriend Evalynn and a host of cousins and friends who will cherish his memory forever. His untimely departure leaves a void that can never be filled, but his spirit will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
A service to honor and celebrate Cesar’s life will be held on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 at San Martin de Porres Catholic Church, 8301 Camino San Martin SW Albuquerque, NM 87121, at 10:00 AM with a memorial reception to follow at 7001 Bluewater Rd NW STE D 87121.
Though his time with us was short, Cesar will never be forgotten. May his memory live on forever in our hearts.
