Obituary of Cesar Antonio Quispe
Cesar Antonio Quispe, of Morristown, passed away peacefully on April 13, 2024, at Morristown Medical Center. He was 54.
Cesar was born in Lima, Peru to Luisa Montes and Florencio Quispe on December 16, 1969. He went to high school at Don Bosco Tech in Paterson, NJ and graduated in 1988. He went on to earn a Bachelor of Science degree in electrical engineering from New Jersey Institute of Technology [NJIT]. He worked as an information technology consultant specializing in Microsoft for many companies throughout his career. Most recently he was a Deputy Director for Cognizant Technology Solutions where he worked for 17 years. He lived life to the fullest and was a nerd and big kid at heart. Most of all, he cherished his friends and family with his greatest joy tied to any activities with his children. As a first-generation US citizen, Cesar represented the American Dream and often supported Hispanic/Latinx organizations.
Cesar is survived by his wife Alison, son Jackson (20), daughter Katherine [Katie] (18) and father Florencio Quispe of Morristown, NJ; his brother Ronaldo Quispe of New York City, NY; his brother Joel, sister-in-law Patricia and nephew Ivan Quispe of Seattle, Washington and numerous uncles, aunts and cousins. He is preceded in death by his mother, Luisa Montes.

Cesar was like a big brother to us cousins. Growing up I remember visiting his family often. Every summer I would be in Paterson NJ visiting family and he always spent time with us. I remember him driving us to go shopping, watching movies, walking the dog, having snow ball fights. He would also help me with the computer games and he let us play on his Atari. We would have family gatherings at the park and played soccer and football. Cesar would show us how to be on a team. He was wonderful.
