Chad William Boone passed away August 6, 2024 at home. He was born August 8, 1931 in Pleasant Valley, Texas to Francis and Marie Whatley Boone. Chad served in the United States Army. He enjoyed farming, ranching and horse trading.
Survivors include wife, Peggie Boone; sons, Keith and Brad Boone; daughters, Carla Diane Couch and Cindy Sears (Clif); brother, Herman Boone; grandchildren, Seth Boone (Savannah) Kali James (Jimmy), Tabatha Harper (Lynn), Kenneth Couch (Marie), Lindsay Martinez, John Norman Reedy; great-grandchildren, Brittany, Dillon, Madison, Coy, Aaron, Graham, Goldie, Benny; great-great-grandchild, Oakleigh; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Thursday in the Baum Carlock Bumgardner Funeral Home Annex. Graveside services will be 10 a.m., Friday, August 9, 2024 at Indian Creek Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Indian Creek Baptist Church Building Fund.
