Baum Carlock Bumgardner Funeral HomeMary Margaret Marsh, lovingly known as “Mickey,” passed away on February 24, 2026, at the age of 81. She was born on September 8, 1944, in Mineral Wells, Texas, where she grew up and spent her entire life surrounded by the people she loved most.
Mary was the daughter of Margaret Ethel (Walker) Sparks and Curtis Sparks. She shared her life with her beloved husband, James Wayne Marsh, and together they built a family rooted in love, faith, and strength.
She was the proud mother of Marylene Stone; Teresa Marsh and Victor Ball; Thomas and Tracy Marsh; and the late Randy Marsh. She was cherished by her grandchildren: James Roy and Brandon Loughry; Victor Ball, Gidget Addison, Brad Ball, Mandy Rhodes; Michael, Jennifer, and Thomas (Jimmy) Marsh. Her legacy continues through her great-grandchildren: Cody, James, and Curtis Loughry; Autumn and Brooke Ball; Rayne, Hailey, and Tyler Addison; Nathan Ball, Sarah Smith, Taylor, Noah, and Draven Addison; Victoria Torres and Jordan Williamson. She was also blessed to know her great-great-grandchildren: Bentley, Kendal, Ayden, and Adrien Loughry; Marceline Mordaunt; Dante Stevens; Wyatt, Brynlee, and Sawyer Williamson.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Curtis and Margaret Sparks; her husband James Marsh; her children, Marylene Stone; Randy Mash; her grandson, Brandon Loughry; and her great-great-granddaughter, Sawyer Williamson.
Mary retired from Walmart, where she worked many dedicated years and made lifelong friendships. Outside of work, she found joy in the simple and meaningful things: gardening, working in her yard, going to garage sales, reading her Bible, attending church, and spending time in heartfelt conversations with those she loved. She was a faithful member of both Bible Baptist Church and Calvary Baptist Church throughout her life.
Known for her empathetic, resilient, compassionate, kind-hearted, and loving spirit, Mary touched everyone she met. Her greatest joy in life was her family, and she poured her heart into each generation that followed her. She will be remembered for her warmth, her gentle humor, her strength, and the unconditional love she gave so freely.
A combined memorial and celebration of life will be held on Saturday, February 28th, at 12:30 PM at Calvary Baptist Church. Flowers may be sent directly to Calvary Baptist Church for the service. All are welcome to attend and honor her memory.
