37, passed into our Lords arms on Wednesday, March 13, 2024, in Wichita, KS. CJ was born to Sherri Porterfield and Gary Branson in Pheonix, AZ on November 9, 1986. In 1989 he proudly became a Branson. He is preceded in death by his sister, Stormie Branson. Survived by his parents, Sherri Porterfield, father, Gary Branson, brother, Chris (Amber Lynn) Poterfield, children, Brendan Powers, Alialm Branson and Liam Branson. CJ's wishes were to be cremated and a service held in his hometown in mid-April for his family and friends. "If we have been pleased with life, we should not be displeased with death, since it comes from the hand of the same Master." Michelangelo.

CJ I still cannot believe you left us ..the only peace is that you are in a place free from all the worries, struggles & pain you trusted me with. I think about you all the time & think back to the memories we made. I remember the 2nd time we met & really 1st time we got to sit & talk - that day you moved in with my sister & I . We were immediate friends. Later we would laugh about it because, of course you came to learn how anti-social my sister & I were. You were the complete opposite! You were always introducing us to a friend or new friend yours. Which sometimes drove us crazy! I would want it any other way - it made you who you are.
I know we don't understand right now why you were taken from us & I don't live my life in regret but I know how much you loved your kids & desperately wanted to turn your life around to get back to them. I wish you & them could of seen that happen before you had to leave. Now though you get to see them grow everyday, hold & protect them in spirit which is something more amazing than anyone could imagine! However it happens now or someday I pray they understand &:know the love you have for them. Until we meet again...I love you! Xo Jen
