Chad Bruce of Lexington, formerly of Campbellsville, son of Michael and Karen Bruce, was born May 31, 1988 in Taylor County, Kentucky. He died from injuries sustained in an accident February 1, 2026 in Lexington. Age: 37

Chad was a graduate of Transylvania University and was a processing support specialist with the United States Postal Service.

Chad loved spending vacations with his family. He especially loved traveling and spending time with his niece and nephews. He was a wonderful pet “dad” to his dog Felix and his cat Theo. He enjoyed tending to his plants and garden and had a green thumb.

He is survived by his parents, Michael and Karen Bruce of Campbellsville; one brother, Kacy Bruce and wife, Christen of Campbellsville; his grandfather, Billy Milby of Campbellsville; his niece, Claire Bruce, and his nephews, Jace Bruce and Hayes Bruce; and many other relatives, work colleagues, neighbors and friends.

Chad was also preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Arlene Milby, and his paternal grandparents, Don and Barbara Bruce.

MEMORIAL SERVICE: 2:00 P.M., Thursday, February 5, 2026 at Parrott and Ramsey Funeral Home in Campbellsville by Pastor Jason Hood and Pastor Chapman Bean
