Mr. Michael Chad Chapman, age 37, of Barnesville, passed away May 25, 2025, at his home. Chad grew up in Jonesboro and graduated from Luella High School. He worked for Advanced Roofing in Barnesville for many years. Chad was an avid outdoorsman and loved hunting and fishing. He was funny, had a great sense of humor, could light up a room the minute he entered it and could grin his way out of absolutely anything.
Chad accepted the Lord as his Savior on July 7, 2024.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Regina Chapman and long-time friend, Cooper Collins.
He is survived by his fiancé: Macy Jones; sons: Fischer Chapman and Hudson Chapman and their mom, Sara Chapman; a daughter: Emmy Andrews; father: Butch Chapman (Wanda); brothers: Kevin Chapman (Natalie), Shane Chapman (Amber), Thomas Boswell (Kaydee) and Brandon Doughty (Megan); nephews and nieces: Brantley Chapman, Kellie Chapman, Cameron Chapman, Jaycob Chapman, Laikyn Boswell, Cooper Boswell, Gracie Boswell, Olivia Boswell, Maren Doughty and Jada Butler.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, May 28, 2025, at 2 p.m., in the chapel of Moody- Daniel Funeral Home with pastors Keith Ford, Ricky Shepherd and Michael Smith officiating. Burial will follow in Moody Memorial Gardens.
Friends may visit the family on Wednesday, from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m., at the funeral home.
