CHAD MATTHEW CHRISTENSEN, 33, passed away unexpectedly Friday, August 23, 2024 in Augusta, GA.
A native of Aiken, Chad was a son of Mary Anne Crawford Christensen and the late Andrew Paul Christensen. He graduated from South Aiken High School and was the goalie his senior year when the soccer team won the State Championship in 2009. He loved anime.
Survivors, in addition to his mother, Mary are two brothers, Andrew Paul Christensen, Jr (Rhonda), Aiken, Ryan Thomas Christensen (Crystal), Edgefield, his sister, Anna Marie Christensen, Aiken and his nephew, Andrew Paul “Trey”.
A Memorial Gathering will be held Thursday evening, August 29th from 5 until 7 o'clock at Shellhouse – Rivers Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to The Hale Foundation (www.thehalefoundation.com) .
