Robert Wade Arnold, 38, was welcomed into Heaven by his Savior, Wednesday, January 21, 2026, in Knoxville, TN.
Wade was born at Andrews Air Force Base in Maryland and was the cherished son of Paige Smith Coleman and the late Joel Coleman. He spent his formative years in Aiken, SC where he graduated from South Aiken High School. Wade was passionate about sports, excelling as a fullback and linebacker on the football team and also participating in baseball.
He earned a degree in Business Administration from the University of South Carolina - Aiken. Wade had a profound love for the outdoors, often enjoying time at Edisto Beach and fishing, activities that brought him great joy and relaxation.
Wade is survived by his beloved mother, Paige Coleman; his sister, Whitney Heydt, and her husband, Kelby; and his precious nieces, Sutton and Savannah Heydt. He is also survived by his maternal grandparents, Bob and Jo Ann Smith, as well as aunts and uncle, Scott and Barbie Heath, Lynn Goss, Pam Coleman; his cousins, Michelle Mobley (Tim), Caleb Muns, D.J. and Jessica Goss, Caroline and Chaney Heath. Wade is also survived by Neal Arnold.
In addition to his father, Joel, he was preceded in death by his uncle, Bill Coleman.
A Memorial Service Celebrating Wade’s Life will be held on Saturday, February 7th, at 1:00 PM at Cedar Creek Church, Banks Mill Campus, with Pastor Rick Lee officiating. A reception will follow the service until 3:00 o'clock.
