Chad Allen Moore, the man who could make anyone laugh, set off on his final adventure on September 18, 2025. Born on March 21, 1972, in Fairmont, WV, Chad was the embodiment of spirit, humor, and love. Although he took his last bow on the stage of life, his act will continue to play in the hearts of his loved ones. As the saying goes, "A day without laughter is a day wasted." And Chad, well, he never wasted a day.

Chad was a jack of all trades, having spent years as a coal miner, laborer at Phillips Lighting, and an oil rig worker. He had a comedic knack for turning hard work into hilarious stories that would leave everyone in stitches. But when he wasn't working, Chad was out embracing the wild, hunting, and fishing. He was as adventurous as they come. His daughter, Hanna, fondly remembers his saying, "Life's too short for boring hobbies," and we'd have to agree. Never a dull moment with Chad around!

In the grand play of life, Chad was the loving lead, and he is survived by his cheerleading cast of characters: his daughter, the apple of his eye, Hanna Moore and her partner Josh Siecker of Sydney, Australia, his brothers David (Lydia) Ingram and Dean Moore. Preceding him in the grand exit were his father Denzil Moore, mother Martha Ingram, his son Allen Moore, and grandparents Betty (William) Michael.

Chad lived a life more colorful than a box of crayons. Laughter was his soundtrack, love was his guiding star, and adventure was in his DNA. He will be remembered as a funny, loving, adventurous, and spirited soul who marched to the beat of his own drum. To paraphrase Dr. Seuss, "Don't cry because it's over. Smile because it happened." And Chad, oh boy, did he happen!

Please share your memories of Chad and upload photos to the memorial page as we remember a man who truly knew how to live life in technicolor.
