Chad Elliott Rich, 41, of Indianapolis, IN, left us far too soon on April 22, 2025, at his home. Born on January 31, 1984, Chad filled our lives with laughter, kindness, and an unmatched enthusiasm for life. He was the son of Cynthia Rich and the late Robert Rich, and he leaves behind a loving family that includes his wife, Vasiti Baker, and his children: Julia, Ava, Kadence, Amaya, Alyvia, Emalyn, and Koen. He is also survived by his devoted mother, Cynthia, and his siblings, Tabitha, Corey, Robert, and Lindsey.

Chad had a big heart and an open spirit; anyone who crossed his path knew that he was a friend who would always lend a hand. Whether he was making people laugh or brightening up a room, he truly was the life of the party. He spent his career as an appliance technician, becoming a master at his craft, and took great pride in his work. Chad loved to travel with his family, explore new places, and create unforgettable memories. His love for animals was evident, as he opened his heart to creatures great and small.

He will be deeply missed by everyone who had the pleasure of knowing him.

Friends and family are invited to celebrate Chad's life with a public viewing on May 3, 2025, from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Jones Crossing Banquet & Event Center. Following the viewing, a funeral service will be held at 3:30 PM at the same location. Chad will be laid to rest at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery on May 5, 2025, at 3:00 PM.
