Chad Scheving Obituary
Chad Michael Scheving was born on June 30, 1982 to Randy and Margie (Luken) Scheving. Chad grew up in East Grand Forks and attended East Grand Forks Senior High. He worked for Community Contractors, Holweger Construction, Erickson Farms, Big Jim's Tire, Hillier Tire in Drayton, ND, Wigwam Resort, and lastly M Bar D in Grand Forks. He also lived in Mentor, MN, and most recently in Erskine, MN.
Chad played hockey in his youth and was fondly known as "the goalie." He loved his children and enjoyed spending time outdoors with them. He had a passion for farming, biking, snowmobiling, yard work, and fixing things. Chad was a hard worker and always willing to lend a hand to family and friends with various projects at their homes or at the lake. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Chad is survived by his children, Dakota, Jordan, Abigail, Bentley, Samantha and Tabatha; parents, Randy and Margie of Mentor, MN; sisters, Audrea (Jay) Burke of East Grand Forks, MN and Bri (Alex) Feil of Grand Forks, ND; grandmother, Lotus Scheving; and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Chad was preceded in death by grandparents, Charles Scheving, Roland Luken and Sally Brackin; and infant twin sisters, Sarah and Savanna Scheving.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred.
MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL: 11:00 AM, Friday, June 13, 2025 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 200 3rd St. NW, East Grand Forks, MN 56721.
VISITATION: One hour before the service at the church.
