Chad Swanson Obituary

Chad graduated from Riverside High School, Class of 2013. Chad worked for Duke Medical Center Emergency Department and Wake County EMS, and volunteered as a fireman at Lebanon Volunteer Fire Department. He had a love for family, people and sharing the gospel. Chad was a member of the Summit Church where he spent much of his time volunteering. He was also an avid Duke fan.
In addition to his parents, Chad is survived by his sister, Haley Johnson (Eric); brother, Benjamin Warren Swanson (Samantha); grandparents, Jack and Hazel Swanson, Donna Morgan Sarvis; nieces, Emeri Johnson, Chloe Johnson, Hope Madison Swanson; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
A memorial service will be held 2:00 p.m., Thursday, June 9th at The Summit Church Brier Creek Campus, with Rev. Danny Franks and Rev. Jeremy Woods officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, June 8th at Clements Funeral Home in Durham.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made "In Memory of Chad Swanson" to The Summit Church, 2335 Presidential Dr, Durham, NC 27703.
The family is being assisted by Clements Funeral & Cremation Services, Inc. in Durham. Online condolences can be made at www.clementsfuneralservice.com.

I worked with chat at WCEMS. He was one of the most caring, compassionate people around. I´m so saddened to hear of his passing, but I´m so grateful and honoured to have known him. The world is a better place because of him, and his love will live on forever.
