Chad Wesley Taylor, born May 24, 1988, passed away on April 22, 2025, at the age of 36. He was a devoted father, a creative soul and a man who found joy in the simple things - nature, machines and time spent with the people he loved.
Chad's life revolved around his four children - Harleigh, Madison, Lindsey and Nathan - who were his pride and joy. Whether he was teaching them about farm life, building something with his hands or just being present in their lives, his love for them was steady.
He had a deep passion for motorcycles, landscaping, drumming, camping, fishing, and RC cars. Chad had a way of making things come alive - whether it was a patch of land or the beat of a drum. He found peace in the outdoors and freedom on the open road. Chad struggled in ways many never saw, but he also loved deeply and lived with heart.
He will be remembered for his beautiful blue eyes, strong personality, his laugh, willingness to help others, and ability to make people laugh and smile, even when he was hurting himself.
He is preceded by grandfathers Frank Taylor and Cliff Michael.
He is survived by his wife Dana, children Harleigh (Jordan), Madison, Lindsey Taylor, and Nathan Gohn. Mother Brenda Michael, father Ron Taylor, his brother Brad Taylor (Diane) and grandmother Dot Michael.
The family asks for thoughts and compassion currently.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 6:00pm on May 8, 2025, at Triad Cremation & Funeral Service Chapel in Greensboro, NC. In honor of Chad, take a moment to step outside, breathe in the fresh air, and do something kind - either for someone else or yourself.
