Chad Zinkel passed away peacefully with his family surrounding him on October 15th, 2025, at the age of 55.
Chad was born in Manitowoc, WI, graduating from Manitowoc Lincoln High School in 1988, and got his bachelor's degree from the University of Wisconsin - Green Bay in 1993. He married Stephanie Schumann on November 26th, 1994. He worked at Parker Hannifin for 25 years and loved his job along with those he worked with. He was a devout Christian, and active member of Pilgrim Lutheran Church. Chad was a multi-instrumental musician and loved to sing. He especially enjoyed traveling with his family. Chad was a selfless man who always put his family first and never missed his children's events.
Chad Zinkel is survived by his wife, Stephanie, his four children, Tyra (Daniel, Jr Quinnell), Trent, Sydney, Drew, and his grandson, Marcus. He is also survived by his mother, Gail, and two brothers, Jeffery (LuAnn), and Eric (Debra). He was preceded in death by his father, James.
All those who knew Chad and the Zinkel family are invited to his funeral at Pilgrim Lutheran Church on Tuesday, October 21, 2025. The visitation will be from 9:00-11:00am, followed by an 11:00am service to honor Chad.
Any donations will be given to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, in memory of Chad as he survived brain cancer as a young adult.
