Champ C. Kapinos-Dock, age 40, of Manitowoc passed away suddenly, Sunday, October 6, 2024 in Two Rivers.
Champ was born November 25, 1983 in San Francisco, CA, son of Rudolph Dock and Suzanne Kapinos. He was a graduate of Lincoln High School with the Class of 2003.
Champ worked as the head chef for Brix Restaurant, Manitowoc as well as Courthouse Pub, Green Street Bar & Grill and the Waverly in previous years.
Champ enjoyed golf, photography and art of all types. He loved cooking for everyone he knew and had the ability to turn food into art of his own. Champ loved the San Francisco 49er's and enjoyed a loving rivalry with his children's favorite team, the Green Bay Packers. Mostly he enjoyed spending time with his beautiful children, Ka'eo and Liliana and their siblings.
Survivors include his children: Ka'eo and Liliana Kapinos-Dock, Manitowoc; niece: Phoebe Pozorski, IN; as well as extended family: Shawn, Verlene and Jack Pichette, Garrett and Amelia Peters, John and Lisa Gibas, Jacob Babich (Melissa Aschenbrenner), Jesse Gibas (Ashley Pierre), Joe and Samantha Gibas and Ben Schema. Champ was preceded in death by his parents Rudolph Dock and Suzanne Kapinos and his sister Chauncy Birkholz.
Cremation has taken place and a Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, October 26, 2024 at the Lakeshore Life Celebration Center (3613 Waldo Blvd.) Manitowoc.
The family will greet relatives and friends at the center from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the services at 1:00 p.m.
