Trimble Funeral Home & Crematory - MolineChandler R. Chapman was born into the arms of angels on Sunday, September 14, 2025, at the University of Iowa Hospitals & Clinics, Iowa City.
Visitation will be from 11:00 to 1:00 p.m. Friday, November 7, in the Horizon Room at Trimble Funeral Home at Trimble Pointe, 701 12th Street, Moline. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family for future fertility treatments.
Chandler Rose Chapman was born September 14, 2025, in Iowa City, Iowa, the daughter of Jim and Brittney (Ferns) Chapman. After 13 years of fertility treatments and multiple miscarriages, Jim and Brittney were blessed with their miracle daughter, Olivia, in the midst of their journey. Wanting nothing more than to give Olivia a sibling, they continued their path of faith and perseverance, and Chandler became their next beautiful gift. She was a fighter through every moment of her short but meaningful life.
She was known for keeping her momma up late at night with her lively movements, and big sister Olivia loved to kiss and rub her mom’s belly, singing sweetly about the baby she couldn’t wait to meet. Chandler’s weeks were filled with love, excitement, and the pure joy of anticipation.
She is survived by her loving parents, Jim and Brittney Chapman; big sister, Olivia Chapman; grandparents, Doug and Laurie Ferns; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and others who loved her deeply. She was welcomed in heaven by her grandparents, Andrew and Mary Chapman, and several cherished family members who went before her.
When you see a rose in bloom, please think of me, and the love I carried with me, and know that I am with you always.
