I was blessed to meet Chantal through our daughters. Skylar and Elena have been friends since 3rd grade, so I got to hang out with Chantal taking the girls to dinner, the drive-in, spa, and school events. She was always so nice, calm, and intentional, and could make you laugh unexpectedly, like telling me about the Big Booty Judy song. I was so excited to learn she and Ryan went Ferris, as that's where Ralph and I went! And I was so impressed she went for political science! She had such poise, presence, and style she could have went to the White House! Ralph, Elena, & I were fortunate to visit Skylar, Chantal, & Ryan in Kalamazoo a couple years ago and I'm so glad, because that was where her heart was. Chantal, fly high queen! You will be missed so much, but left lasting memories. Skylar, Ryan, Mildred, and Barry, we are sending you love, hugs, and prayers. Our heart breaks for you all.

I met chantel through my boss and good friend Ryan aka funk the time I got to know her she was a good friend she had a heart of gold,she was giving a good mom,she was down and a hard worker ,she had a beautiful smile,and was not stingy,she loved the our Lord Jesus Christ God bless her heart she will be missed dearly,much love to the family love yall

She was my absolute favorite. She worked at Linden Charter Academy, where I attended Kindergarten to 7th grade. She was always so soft-spoken and nice. I am so sad to hear that she has passed. Rest peacefully Ms.Edwards.

I will never forget how you used to always take me places with you and teach me new things. You were always like the big sister I´ve always wanted. I hate that I didn´t get to spend more time with you. My parents were never ones to let me hang around too many people but they loved and trust you and your family. I´m honored to have been able to meet you in this life. May you rest in peace and just know you will always be loved.
