Mrs. Charity (Jordan) Mills age 75 of Barbourville, Kentucky, formerly of Mills Creek, took her heavenly flight on March 7, 2025, at the Baptist Health Hospital in Corbin. She was the widow of Randall Mills and the daughter of George and Cleda Jordan born to them on February 8, 1950 in Knox County. She was of the Baptist faith and was a member of the New Life Ministries Church.
Charity was a homemaker and enjoyed taking care of her flowers and beloved grandchildren. She could make the best fried chicken in the world. She was a wonderful daughter, wife, mother and grandmother and always welcomed company. She will be greatly missed by all her family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband Randall Mills, her mother and father, George and Cleda Jordan, father and mother-in-law, Johnnie and Dorcas Mills, a special nephew, Jerry Mills and special cousin, Larry Hensley.
Charity leaves behind to mourn her passing, her two daughters, Patricia Miracle and husband Michael of Miracle, Kentucky and Tonia Cupp and husband Floyd of Bell County, three beloved grandsons, Micheal Tyler and Mackenzie Cupp, Dalton Dunn and Mitchell Cupp, two step grandchildren, Ethan and Kaitlyn Miracle and Landis and Abbi Miracle, three step-great-grandchildren, Matthew, Kinleigh Grace and Anna Lee Miracle, three special little girls whom she loved so dearly, Breanna Faith Farley, Tinsley Mills and Eden Farley, three sisters, Susan Cooper and husband Robert of Barbourville, Mary Lee Broughton and husband Earnie, and Georgia Mills, one brother, Leemon Jordan, a brother-in-law, Keith Mills all of Flat Lick, Kentucky. She also leaves behind many other nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
Funeral services for Mrs. Charity Mills will be conducted on Tuesday, March 11, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. David Mounce and Rev. David Wyatt officiating. She will be laid to rest in the Joe Mills Cemetery on Mills Creek. Pallbearers will be family and friends. Hampton-Hutton Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Friends will be received at the funeral home on Monday evening from 6:00 until 9:00 p.m. and on Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of service at 2:00 p.m.
