She was born in Medina on July 3, 1953 to Dale and Roberta (Reed) Mann.
Survivors include her sister, Nancy (Clarence) Owens; nieces and nephews, Charlotte (Keith) Gerkens, Dale (B.J.) Owens, Charles (Teri) Owens, and Carrie Owens; great-nieces and nephews, Brandon Gerkens, Amanda Owens, Daisy Morse, Luke Carry, and Charles Owens Jr.
Charla was a lifetime resident of Medina and was a 1972 graduate of Medina High School. She had worked at National Disposer for 13 years, and later at Evergreen Care Center for 30 years before retiring in 2018. She was a loving person who made people laugh. She enjoyed embroidering, knitting, reading, and word search books. Charla always had a joke or was just being silly. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
Visitation is 3-7 p.m., Friday, July 14, 2023, at Waite & Son Funeral Home, 765 N. Court St. Medina.
In lieu of flowers, Charla's family would appreciate donations to help cover funeral expenses.
