Charlene Mary Biser, age 82, passed peacefully surrounded by family on September, 11th, 2025 at The Kobacker House. She was preceded in death four months to the day of the passing of Robert T. Biser, loving husband of 60yrs. Preceded in death by Parents, Charles & Marie Rash, (Ciaccio), brother Jesse Rash & son, Bryan Biser.
Surviving cancer more recently, she courageously battled six months of illness that began with Covid in March, 2025. She braved several stays in rehabilitation to gain back her strength.
Charlene was born July 23rd, 1943 to Charles & Marie Rose Rash (Ciaccio) in Clncinnati, Ohio where she spent her childhood. She was raised by her mother Marie & grandmother, Lena Ciaccio (Falco). Graduating from Our Lady of Angels High School, she went on to work in administration for the Cinci. Drackett Co.
Marrying Robert, (Bob) Biser in 1965, brought complete joy raising her son Bryan followed by her daughter, Lori. Charlene was the most devoted wife, mother & follower of Jesus, volunteering heavily in her parish & children's school at St. John the Evangelist in Deer Park.
Charlene returned to the workforce at Liebel-Flarsheim, later bought out as the Guerbot Group, as an admin. until landing her dream job working for the Catholic Telegraph newspaper for the Archdiocese of Cincinnati. She adored serving others while being surrounded by faith based peers in this role.
Charlene enjoyed traveling adventures with her family. Camping, boating & gardening were lifelong pleasures which led to full time enjoyment in retirement. She notoriously enjoyed her Italian culture & cooking traditional recipes for all.
She was the most cherished Nani to Marie Estep Leach (Walter), Mason Estep (Rachel), Brant, Brooke & Ava Estep & Devin Biser (fiancé Drew Cole). Adoring great-grandmother to siblings; Jian Estep, Julian & Liana Leach. She is survived by several nephews, whom she loved.
Charlene was the brightest of light in this world. A faith based spirit of the Lord who led by her heart. She was friend to all, Mom to many & Nani Char to even more. To know her, was to feel authentically loved & drawn into her light. She recently & courageously moved to Columbus to begin new adventures with her family. God showed his true goodness thru her life of giving.
Visitation will be held at Staley - Strawser Funeral Home 7140 Plainfield Rd, Cincinnati, OH 45236, on Monday, September 22, beginning at 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM, followed by a funeral of Christian burial mass at 11:30 AM. At St. John Catholic Church Plainfield Rd, Cincinnati, OH 45236. Entombment will take place at St. Mary Cemetery. Reception to celebrate Charlene's life will be held immediately following the entombment at; Italianette located 6918 Plainfield Rd Silverton, OH, 45236
