Charlene S. Bragg age 91 of Perry, passed away Friday, August 8, 2025 at Haven of Rest in Owosso. A Celebration of Life will be held Sunday, November 23, 2025, from 1:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. at Perry City Hall.

Charlene Sue Ward was born December 3, 1933 in Lansing, MI a daughter of Roland and Susie (Riggs) Ward. On March 29, 1952 she married Melvin Bragg. Charlene enjoyed traveling, sewing, gardening, spending time with her friend, Sharon Stephens and her "Krazie" Red Hatters. Prior to her retirement, she worked at MSU as a telephone operator for 27 years.

Charlene is survived by her children, Charmelle (Ray) Gadd and Roland (Teresa Howes) Bragg; grandchildren, Charay, Chrissy, Chassity, Raychelle, Shauna and Shannon; 10 great grandchildren; and 6 great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Melvin Bragg; great granddaughter, London; 11 siblings; and parents, Roland and Susie.

Memorial contributions in Charlene's name are suggested to Hospice House of Shiawassee County.
