Charlene A. Casteel, 66, of Uniontown, PA, passed away on Monday, August 4, 2025, in WVU Medicine Uniontown Hospital, Uniontown, PA. Charlene was born on March 13, 1959, in Uniontown, PA, the daughter of Ralph and Agnes (Franklin) Casteel. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her siblings, Deborah Schartiger, Larry Casteel and Richard Franklin. Charlene loved to collect porcelain dolls. Charlene is survived by her lifelong partner, Charles Dean, children, Connie Casteel and Ronald Gaylor of Smithfield, PA, Earl Robert Casteel of McClellandtown, PA, Charles Dean Jr., Charlene Bell, Samuel Dean, Christopher Dean, Stanley Dean and Carl Dean all of Uniontown, PA, grandchildren, Myra, Dylan and Cameron Gaylor, Joshua Casteel, David, Noah and Richard Bell and Gregory Dean, great grandson, Jaxson Dean, sister, Dora Jane Moser of Milwaukee, WI and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Friends and family will be received in the DeGusipe Funeral Home and Crematory, 65 N. Gallatin Ave., Uniontown, PA 15401, Stacey A. Dolfi, FD on Friday, August 8, 2025, from 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM. A service will be held in the funeral home at 6:30 PM with Pastor Jim Jobes officiating. Interment is private. The family would like to thank the staff and doctors at WVU Medicine Uniontown Hospital for their care. The family would like to thank Amedisys Hospice. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in honor of Charlene directly to the funeral home.
