Charlene Meyer Obituary
Charlene was born January 3, 1931 in Mitchell County, KS. Her family moved to Smith County in 1939. She married Irvin Meyer April 14, 1950 and they farmed together in Smith County until Irvin's death in 1993. Charlene enjoyed farm life and was an active participant in the farming operation. In her retirement years she enjoyed gardening and volunteering and was a Master Gardner.
She was preceded in death by her husband and grandson Leon Meyer. She is survived by her children Robert Meyer of Olathe, KS, Sharon Marion of Lilburn, GA, Gary Meyer (Janice) of Salina, KS, and daughter Susan Meyer of Lincoln, NE., Sister Dorothy Hommon of Smith Center, 13 grandchildren and 16 greatgrandchildren.
