Charlene Parrish

Charlene Parrish of Lizton, Indiana passed away in Cincinnati with family on July 22, 2022 after a courageous battle with cancer. She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Dorothy Hessel of Brownsburg. Charlene is survived by her sister, Kathleen (Jim) Linkhart of Cincinnati, nephew, Jason (Kim) Linkhart of Louisville, KY, and niece, Kimberly (Doug) Whitten of Cincinnati. She is also survived by the Fab Five, her great nieces, Grace, Iris, Olivia, Meadow, and Maeve.
She was a proud graduate of Brownsburg High School, class of 1966 and a dedicated employee of the State of Indiana for over forty years. She will be remembered for her positive attitude during this difficult time. She loved her home and gardening in her yard, talking to her aunt and cousins from Grand Rapids, visits from her Lizton neighbors and the hospice nurses and aide, and interacting with her family during her final months. She will be missed by many.
Private graveside services were held on July 30,2022 at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Cincinnati. Donations in her memory can be made to Hospice of Cincinnati.
