Charlene Santelli (née Boylan), 75, of Lansdowne, PA Born September 28, 1950 - Passed October 23, 2025

Charlene Santelli, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, cousin, aunt and friend, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family at Bryn Mawr Hospital on October 23, 2025, at the age of 75.

Born in Harrisburg, PA, Charlene was the beloved daughter of Bernice (née Sander), the late William "Bill" Boylan and the stepdaughter of Barbara (nee Batchelder) Boylan. She grew up in Lansdowne, where she later raised her own family with unwavering love and devotion. Charlene attended St. Philomena's School and graduated from Archbishop Prendergast High School in 1968. She earned her nursing degree from Gwynedd Mercy College and dedicated her life to caring for others, working at Misericordia Hospital for five years and Delaware County Memorial Hospital for over 35 years.

Charlene was married to the love of her life, Ralph Santelli Jr., for more than 51 wonderful years. Together they built a home filled with laughter, warmth, and unconditional love. She was a devoted mother to Cara (Bryan) Fitzpatrick, Alicia (Daniel) Commale, and Ralph (Jen) Santelli, III, and a proud "Mom-mom" to Darby, Emery, Samantha, and Genevieve. Her family was her greatest joy, and she never missed a chance to cheer them on from the sidelines-whether at soccer fields, basketball and volleyball courts, swim meets, concerts or dance recitals.

The eldest of eight siblings, Charlene was a guiding light, confidant and friend to Cindy (Dennis) Landi, Patty (Rich) Jones, Jennifer Boylan, Bill (Kate) Boylan, Laura (Scott) Crossin, Amy (John) McCole, and Leslie (Steve) McCardell. Her nurturing spirit extended to her many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Charlene was an avid reader, often juggling more than five books at once. She loved cooking and experimenting with new recipes, especially when it meant gathering loved ones around the table. Summers at the Jersey Shore, traveling adventures, gardening and evenings spent watching her favorite shows brought her joy and comfort.

Her legacy is one of compassion, strength, and boundless love. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered in the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing and loving her.

Relatives and friends are invited to Charlene's services on Thursday, November 6, 2025, at St. Philomena Church in Lansdowne, PA. Visitation will take place from 9:00 to 10:15 a.m., followed by a funeral mass at 10:30 a.m.

I also worked with Charlene at DCMH. She was smart, kind and funny. I loved when she would be sent to our floor for a shift.
We had a lot of good talks between us.The thing I will remember most about her though was her deep love for her family... always talking about her kids, grandkids and husband. She was so proud
Rest in peace Charlene... you earned your place in heaven

I worked with Charlene at DCMH. She was a great nurse with a loving, lighthearted personality. She made every shift better! Sending prayers and hugs to Ralph and her kids and grandkids!
