Charles Douglas Akin

Charles Douglas "RoadHog" Akin passed from this life in the early morning hours of March 25, 2026. He was born in Paragould on February 27, 1949. He leaves his wife of 45 years, Dorothy "Dot" Akin, of their home in Leachville, where they resided together for 38 years. He leaves one daughter, Brandy Akin of Lafe; one son, Chris Akin of Paragould; and his sister, Sandra Wolf of Memphis, Tennessee. He is further celebrated by 3 grandchildren (Chris), 5 great-grandchildren, and a whole host of nieces, nephews, brothers, and sisters-in-law. Charles is preceded in death by his father, Charles Chester Akin, and mother, Reba Lee Akin of Rector, one son, Douglas Dewayne Akin of Paragould, and one great-grandchild, Justin Akin. Ho loved old Harleys, especially Knuckleheads, and delighted in buying, selling, and restoring motorcycles of all kinds for his self-owned business, Raptor Motorcycle Company. Hog kept a special place in his heart for his family and his brothers in the Pharoah's Motorcycle Club of which he was a member for over 50 years. Furthermore, Hog says in lieu of flowers, buy a MOTORCYCLE and ride!!
