Charles H. Allen, III, 90, of Bradenton, Florida and formerly of Exeter, Rhode Island, passed away peacefully on Friday, December 12, 2025 at the Heritage Park Health Center in Bradenton, Florida. He was the husband of the late Shirley (Adkin) Allen and former husband of Jane Lyman.
Charlie devoted many years of service to Allen Seed before retiring. He honorably served in the United States Army and was the author of My Newfound Life in Sales.
He is survived by his children and stepchildren, Susan Gerety and her husband Mike of Florida, the late Sheriann Collins and her husband Jim, the late David John Voce, Charles H. Allen, IV and his wife Sandy of Coventry, Erica Vieira and her husband Dan of West Kingston, and Sarah J. Mount and her partner Wayne of Pennsylvania, six grandchildren, Jennifer Gerety of Connecticut, Jeremiah Iadevaia of Brooklyn, NY, Nicholas Iadevaia of Kenmore, NY, Heather Payson and her husband Shawn of Pennsylvania, Jacob Mount of Florida and Jasmin Ann Collins of in Madison, NJ, four great grandchildren, Jason Thornton, Sam Iadevaia, Cecile Iadevaia and Elijah Iadevaia, and four siblings, Barbara Kimura, Howard Allen, Gregory Allen and Pamela Mouradjian.
Visitation for Charlie will be held on Tuesday, December 23, 2025 from 10 AM to 12 PM followed by a Funeral Home Service at 12 Noon in the Avery-Storti Funeral Home, 88 Columbia St., Wakefield. Burial with military honors will follow in Chestnut Hill Cemetery, Exeter, Rhode Island.
