Charles Richard Anderson, 89, of Indianapolis, passed away on June 21, 2025. He was born on February 12, 1936 in Brazil, IN to the late Lewis and Margaret Anderson. Charles was a draftsman at Duke Energy for over 40 years. He enjoyed traveling, playing cards, watching western movies and going to the St. Louis Cardinal baseball games in his free time. Charles attended the Kingdom Hall Of Jehovah's Witnesses. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Lorene Anderson; son, Richard Anderson; brother, Jack Anderson and a grandson, Clinton Scott Anderson. Funeral services will be on Wednesday, July 2, 2025 at 12:30 pm in Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home where friends may visit from 11:00 am until the time of service at 12:30 pm. Burial will follow in Clearview Cemetery, Brazil, IN. Survivors include his wife, Margaret Anderson; sister, Rochelle McQueen; granddaughter, Jessica Anderson; great grandchildren, Clinton May, William Warrick, Tyler Warrick and Andrew Warrick; several nieces and nephews.
