CHARLES ANDERSON Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Carter Funeral Home, Inc. - Elyria on Dec. 9, 2025.
"The Lord Giveth": Happy Greetings, Happy Greetings, Happy Greetings! Charles Anderson, the Right Worthy Proverb Of Honor, entered into this True Light influence (John 1:9 KJV: That was the true Light, which lighteth every man that cometh into the world) on November 27th, 1959, through the Union of Essie M. Anderson and Charles Rockamore In Cleveland, Ohio. At an early age Charles' mother was called from her labor to her eternal reward so Charles moved into a home of continuous motherly Love, and raised by his Aunt Ruby, (Mercy), and Uncle Jay Wesley, along with the love and comfort of his True Light Family. Charles formal education was within the Cleveland Public School system where he developed a fond love of sports; of which, basketball was his favorite. Charles was anointed as a child with the spiritual name of Activity, (Genesis 47:6 KJV: The land of Egypt is before thee; in the best of the land make thy father and brethren to dwell; in the land of Goshen let them dwell: and if thou knowest any men of activity among them, then make them rulers over my cattle). After working in The Spirit Of Activity, Charles was elevated to the Life of Honor, (1 Chronicles 16:26-27 KJV: For all the gods of the people are idols: but the LORD made the heavens. [27] Glory and honor are in his presence; strength and gladness are in his place). Charles embraced his spiritual name and wore it as a badge of Honor. Brother Honor developed an ardent love for The Almighty Church Beulah Land Farms, and The True Light Family, which was evident by his vast contributions and industrial friendship of love and labor. He would often say that the joy of his early years was coming to The Farm in Oberlin and helping do what he could, so that it would always prosper; in the hope that future generations could enjoy the serenity of its beauty and grace, as he had a chance to experience. Brother Honor had a big heart and was always willing to help anyone in his family, or in the community. No matter what his personal struggles were in life, he would always find the time to assist anyone that was in need, however he could. He loved reading the daily newspaper and keeping others informed as to what was going on in the local community, and in the world. Brother Honor was employed at RTA and several other companies, but his love and passion was working for the Beulah Land Farms in every aspect of spirit and life.

Brother Honor realized that Antoinette Hall was an earthly gem and joined in the comforts of love and bliss with her for over forty years. Together, they navigated through the course of spiritual and life matrimony. He often stated that he didn't know what he would have done had he not been blessed to have Antoinette by his side; through the good, the bad, and the indifference.

"The Lord Taketh Away"

On November 23rd, in the year of our Lord, Two Thousand and Twenty Five, at 12:18 AM, the seventh trumpet sounded, and Charles Anderson, the right will industrial engineer of Honor, begin his eternal True Light Sojourn, into eternal life, going on into life eternal, to reign in the Holy New Jerusalem City. He had finished his life course and was delivered to his eternal glory. (2 Timothy 4:7-8 KJV I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith: [8] Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing). Brother Honor was reunited with his Mother and Father; his Aunt Ruby; Brother Stevie Anderson; Sister Theresa Rockamore; and all his loved ones, family and friends. And most of all The True Lights that he so fondly adored, including his "Aunt" Elizabeth Williams, (Honor) who preceded him in death, several hours before. "Blessed Be The Name Of The Lord": (Philippians 1:23-25 KJV: For I am in a strait betwixt two, having a desire to depart, and to be with Christ; which is far better: [24] Nevertheless to abide in the flesh is more needful for you. [25] And having this confidence, I know that I shall abide and continue with you all for your furtherance and joy of faith;) Brother Honor leaves to cherish the memories of his living and loving: His adoring Wife: Antoinette Anderson; Brothers: Jerry (Teriea) Anderson, Michael Anderson-Chaney, and Leon Rockamore; Mother in law: Marget Hall; Sister in law: Alethea (John), and Brother in law: John (Pamela) Hall Jr. ; A Beloved Daughter: Deaidre Haynes; A Loving Son: Morality Anderson; Two daughters in Love: Shalisa and Felicia; Grandchildren: Dathan, Durrriya, James, Anthony, Julian, Jada, and Ray. One Great Grandchild: Layla Amour Haynes; The Royal Standard Court Of Honor; his True Light Family; and a bevy of relatives and friends. "Oh Brother of Honor, you lived your life, your very best, and now may the f light of True Light Angels take you to your eternal rest"

Family hour will take place on Friday December 12, 2025, at 10:00am with the Homegoing Service to begin at 11:00am located at Second Baptist Church 427 Chapman Ln Elyria, OH 44035.
