Charles Henry Arrington, age 90, of Greenville, passed away June 17, 2022. Funeral Service will be held at Peters Funeral Home on Tuesday, June 21, 2022 at 10:00 A.M. with a visitation one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow the service at Memoryland Memorial Park.
Charles was born in Commerce, Tx. on May 14, 1932 to John and Eva Arrington. He married Betty Joann McCool on May 6, 1950 in Commerce, TX. Charles was a professional truck driver for many years. He enjoyed collecting antique cars and adored spending time with his family.
Charles is survived by his sons, Bob Arrington and his wife, Barbara of Greenville, TX, and Bill Arrington and his wife, Brenda of Wills Point, TX; granddaughters, Angie Sandefur and her husband, Warren of Addison, TX, and Leslie Borrego and her husband, Fernando of Pflugerville, TX; grandsons, Billy Arrington and his wife Kara of Caddo Mills, TX, and Charlie Flynn and his wife, Scarlett of Frisco, TX; son-in-law, Brian Flynn; five great grandchildren as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Betty Joann Arrington; step-mother, Florence Arrington; daughter, Brenda Charlotte Arrington; brothers, Johnny M. Arrington and Delbert L. Arrington, and step-sister, Allie Applegate.

He was our neighbor in Greenville for many years, my boys loved hearing his stories and talking about his cars. He sure loved his wife. We will miss him dearly.
