Charles Barbaree, Sr. "The Colonel" passed away at the age of 85. Charles was born October 30, 1937. Charles was born in Samson, AL to Kathleen Weeks and Arnold Barbaree. Charles worked his own business, C.E.B. Services. He loved his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, Family, friends, and his country whom he served.
Charles is survived by his children: Charles Barbaree, Jr., Elizabeth Barbaree Sconiers and her husband Rob, Denise Barbaree; Glen Barbaree, Sean Barbaree Sr., Misty Hicks, and Mark Barbaree; his siblings: Debbie McLeod and her husband Raymond, Donald Barbaree and his wife Sally, Linda Huckabee and her husband Jimmy, Mike Barbaree and his wife Marta, Rickey Barbaree Sr. and his wife Kim, Sharon Trent, and Mickey Barbaree; along with grandchildren, great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Charles's celebration of life will be held on Friday December 16, 2022, at the Chapel of Whitehurst Powell Funeral Home at 11:00 a.m. A time of visitation with the family will begin at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow in the Liveoak Park Memorial Cemetery.
