January 28, 1935 - August 9, 2025
Houston, Texas - Charles "Chuck" Baskett, long-time Arlington resident, passed away August 9th, 2025, in Houston of causes related to Alzheimer's disease. He was 90 years old.
Charles, his wife Dawn, and their three children moved to the "Scots Woods" neighborhood of Arlington from Dayton, Ohio in 1979. Charles, an ex-new-car dealer, was wildly successful selling computer systems to car and truck dealers for ADP and Ultimate Roads. In 1991, Charles and Dawn moved to Granbury, TX to spend their twilight years.
A graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday June 16 at Memorial Park Cemetery in Amarillo. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to the Alzheimer's Association.
