CHARLES MAURICE BEASLEY passed from this life on Monday, September 8, 2025. He was born of goodly parents, Clovis Maurice Beasley and Margaret Schaefer Beasley, on December 5, 1939 in Odessa, Texas. He was raised by his paternal grandmother, Ethet Mae Stewart, as his mother died when he was 4 years old.

He spent most every summer working with his uncle, William Jackson Beasley (Maedel Boulter) on a water well drilling machine or oil drilling rig in McCamey.

He met then married the love of his life, Martha Ann Taylor, on June 28, 1959. They had 4 children, Deborah (Greg Frerich), Rodney (Courtney), Beasley Bruce (Kristi), Beasley, and Byron (Carolina) Beasley. They have 12 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren at present.

He was preceded in death by grandparents, parents, uncle and aunt, granddaughter Kylee Marie Beasley, and grandson Caleb Joseph Freich.

Charles never said anything bad about anyone and was well liked by all he met. He worked hard all his life and provided well for his family. He passed on a love of cars to his sons. In fact, the Beasleys' were known for their classic Ford Mustangs.

He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of LDS and served many callings in the communities in which they lived.

Tenneco Oil Company moved the family to Ozona and lived here after he retired in 2013.

He valued education and provided a way for his children to further their education after they graduated from high school. He was proud of their accomplishments.

Graveside service will be held at Cedar Hill Cemetery September 13th at 11:00 am Arrangements by Preddy Funeral Home
