Charles Bell, 94, passed away Sunday, December 15, 2024 at Baptist-Attala Hospital in Kosciusko.
Funeral services are 11:00 am Thursday December 19, 2024 at Ethel Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Stonewall Cemetery in Ethel. Visitation will be Thursday 9:00 am until 11:00 am at Ethel Baptist Church.
Charles was a member of Ethel Baptist Church where he had served as a Deacon. At a young age he had been baptized in Blaine's Pond, and he and his sister Lucy Jean had walked to church. He had retired from LuVel Dairy after 41 years of service. Charles had served in the United States Army.
He is survived by his daughter Charla Grace (Wilburn), grandsons Evan Chandler (Holli) and Jon Chandler (Lauren), and great-grandchildren Emma Joy and Isaac Charles Chandler.
He is preceded in death by his parents Charles and Lucy Leonard Bell, spouses Kathryn Patridge Bell and Mary Alice Pugh Bell, sisters Lucille Rachel Green, Charlene Dicken, Laura Russell, and Lucy Jean Knight, and brothers Leonard Bell and Gorden Bell.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Ethel Baptist Church, c/o Organ Fund, P O Box 14, Ethel, MS 39067.
