Charles A. Billy, 79 of Iselin, passed away on September 11, 2025. He was born on October 29, 1945, to Charles and Pauline (Sroka) Billy, in Perth Amboy.

Charles graduated from Perth Amboy High School in 1963. After graduation he joined the U.S. Navy on July 23, 1963, and after serving as a seaplane mechanic at Naval Air Station (NAS) North Island in Coronado California and NAS Sangley Point in the Philippines, he was Honorably discharged on October 28, 1966.

After the Navy Charles was accepted into the International Brotherhood of Electrical Works in 1967, working as an electrician for forty 40 years until his retirement from Local 456 in New Brunswick, NJ in 2007.

Charles was born in and grew up in Perth Amboy, and later in life also lived in Scotch Plains and Iselin. He is predeceased by his mother Pauline Sroka Billy who passed in 1978, and his father Charles Billy, who passed in 1995.

He is survived by his son Charles, who resides in California, his daughter Meredith in Florida, his granddaughters Sophia and Andrea, his grandson Jayden, and his daughter in law Marisol.

Charles is also survived by his partner Sandra Mansueto, that special someone he was fortunate to meet and have in his life.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 27, 2025, from 9 AM to 11 AM at Flynn and Son / Koyen Funeral Home, 319 Amboy Avenue, Metuchen, followed by a 12 PM graveside service at St. Gertrude Cemetery, Colonia.
