Charles was born August 6, 1938 in Goshin Indiana. Charles passed away February 24, 2025 in Norfolk, Virginia. Charles was predeceased by his parents Vernon and Margaret Blough; his sisters Mary Lantz, Janet Rose Blough, Doris Stanfill and Peggy Thrailkill. Charles married Mabel Rollins in 1958. They were married for 62 years until Mabels death in 2020. Charles and Mabel had 4 children; Charles William, Vernon, Debra and Mary. Charles was also predeceased by his sons Charles William and Vernon.
Charles is survived by his daughters Debra Collins and husband Keith and daughter Mary Stover and husband Mike. Charles is survived by grandchildren Steven King and Tisha Vaughan. Charles also has 4 great-grandchildren.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 5, 2025 from 5-7 PM, at Graham Funeral Home, 1112 Kempsville Road, Chesapeake, VA. A service to celebrate his life will be held Thursday, March 6, 2025 at 11 AM, with Pastor Tracy Gregory officiating also at Graham Funeral home. The committal service will follow the service at Riverside Memorial Park, Norfolk.
