Honoring The Journey Of Christopher Blough

Christopher Michael Blough, age 54, of Fort Smith, Arkansas, passed away on Tuesday, September 2, 2025, at Baptist Health Hospital in Fort Smith. He was born on July 7, 1971, in Wooster, Ohio, to Paul Blough and Ingrid (Roberts) Blough. Christopher grew up in Orrville, Ohio, and attended Orrville High School, where at just 12 years old he met the love of his life, Melissa. Years later, on May 11, 2014, the two were united in marriage in Fort Smith, Arkansas, a bond they cherished deeply.

A dedicated worker, Christopher was employed at the Mars Pet Food Plant. He also proudly earned the rank of Eagle Scout as a young man, a recognition that reflected his commitment, determination, and strong moral character. Christopher's life was rich with hobbies and interests. He was an avid collector and builder of LEGO sets, especially Star Wars collections, which brought him great joy. He and Melissa also enjoyed creating crafts together, a pastime that reflected their love and companionship.

Above all, Christopher will be remembered as a kind, loving, and hardworking man who devoted himself to his family. He was a role model to his stepson, Harley, and deeply loved his wife, children, and family. His life was marked by generosity, loyalty, and an unwavering devotion to those he loved.

Christopher is survived by his wife, Melissa Ann Blough of the home; his three adult children; his stepson, Harley; along with extended family members and friends who will miss him dearly. Preceding him in death are his parents, Paul and Ingrid Blough.

He leaves behind a legacy of love, dedication, and kindness that will live on in the hearts of those who knew him. Cremation is under the thoughtful care of River Glenn Cremation and Funeral Services.
