With Love, We Remember Lonnie Dale "Lonzo" Knight

October 14, 1954 – September 3, 2025

Lonnie Dale "Lonzo" Knight, age 70, of Ozark, Arkansas, passed away peacefully at his home. He was born on October 14, 1954, in Borger Texas to Louis Junior Knight and Mary Maxine (Tucker) Knight.

Lonnie was a resident of Ozark most of his school years and all of his adult years. He received his education here in Ozark. On December 14, 1985, in Etna, Arkansas, he married the love of his life, Debra Ann (Withnell) Knight. Together they built a strong and loving family, raising five of his six children.

He will be remembered for his easygoing nature, love of the outdoors, and the deep devotion he carried for God and his family. Lonnie especially enjoyed spending time in the woods, which became not only his place of peace but also where he wished to rest eternally.

He is survived by his wife of nearly 40 years, Debra Knight of the home; his children, Lisa Gregory and husband Dewayne, Charles Nodine, Valarie Crouch, Christina Brown, Leandra Perez, and Laura Knight; his siblings, Darin Knight, Reese Harrod (Knight), and Dene Knight; 16 grandchildren, Faith Nodine, Louis Nodine, Aiden Brown, Nick Brown, Xavior Brown, Kollin Knight, Sajdah Knight, Wyatt Hurley, Nevaeh Perez, Connor Crouch, Micah Crouch Anna, Brooklyn, Ashlee, Katie and Heaven; as well as numerous nieces and nephews who loved him dearly.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Louis Knight and Maxine Knight.

Per his wishes, Lonnie will be cremated and his ashes scattered in the woods he loved so much. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date, to be announced by the family. Lonnie's memory will live on in the hearts of his family and all who knew him. His laughter, wisdom, gift for gab, and kindness will never be forgotten. Cremation is under the thoughtful care of River Glenn Cremation and Funeral Services.
