Charles Thomas "Tom" Bowersox, 82, of Homer, passed away Wednesday, February 25, 2026 at home surrounded by his loving family. He was born on December 3, 1943 in Hillsdale to Vernon "Mike" and Betty J. (Moulton) Bowersox. Charles married Carol A. (Pickford) on October 23, 1963 and she preceded him in death on March 12, 2004.

Tom graduated from Jonesville High School in 1962. He was employed at Simpson Industries for 40 years in the quality control department. Tom loved hunting, fishing, trapping and tending to his yard. Later in life when he could not enjoy those hobbies, he grew to enjoy computer gaming. Tom was also a dog lover.

Tom is survived by two daughters, Tiffany (Kevin) Palmiter of Reading, Theresa Angevine of Reading; one son, Scott (Colleen) Bowersox of Allen; six grandchildren, Dustin (Trent) Angevine, Dalton Angevine, Kyle (Kasey) Earles, Kaitlin (Jeremy Benedict) Bowersox, Miranda (Aubrey) Bowersox, Abigail Palmiter and one-great granddaughter, Khloe Earles. Tom was also survived by his companion of nearly 23 years, Sharon Cook; Sharon's six children; many grandchildren; great-grandchildren and sister-in-law, Violetta Bumpus.

In addition to his wife, Carol, Tom was preceded in death by his parents and great-granddaughter, Kaydence.

A graveside service for Charles T. "Tom" Bowersox will be held on Monday March 2, 2026 at 11:00 AM at Allen Cemetery with Pastor Don Lee officiating. Arrangements are entrusted to the Eagle Funeral Home-George White Chapel in Litchfield.
