Charles G. "Chick" Brendley III

Charles "Chick" G. Brendley III, age 84 of Aston, PA passed away on his birthday, November 16, 2022 at home surrounded by his loving family. Born in Philadelphia, PA, Chick has resided for the past 56 years in Aston, PA. Chick graduated from Interboro H.S. and received his degree in Education form Millersville State College. He went on to teach at Marple Newtown High School as well as Paxon Hollow Middle School before retiring. Chick was a member of the Delaware County Marine Corp League. A Civil War buff, chick enjoyed teaching and in his free time, he was passionate about antiquing and cars. Chick served in the Reserves with the U.S. Marine Corp. He is preceded in death by his sister, Marie Heist, father, Charles G. Brendley Jr. and mother, Marie Brendley. Chick is survived by his wife of 60 years, Bonnie F. Brendley, daughter, Heather Urso (Frank), son, Beau Brendley, nephew, Robert Heist Jr., 5 grandchildren, Vail Urso, Cory Urso, Jessica Urso, Charlie Luciani and Sarah Batory and 4 great grandchildren, Isabella, Jameson, Jackson & Georgie.
