Charles R. Bryant sadly passed away on August 7, 2022, at the age of 78 in his hometown of Dallas, NC. His battle with serious medical issues in recent years showed his strength in facing life's challenges with a smile.
He was born January 4, 1944, to the late Surgen and Thelma Bryant in Gaston County, NC.
Charles is survived by his wife, Belinda Bryant, his daughter, Kathy, stepson and friend, Shawn Worley, his grandchildren, and his great-grandchildren.
The simplest pleasures in life brought much joy to Charles. He surrounded himself with friends and family. He loved his rabbits, ice cream, chocolate, gardening and many more hobbies and interests. Charles was a perfectionist, which was evident to anyone who knew him. Any endeavor he took upon himself, from the passion he had for his custom car rebuilding, guns, jeeps, and his rabbits to name but a few, he did with total attention to detail. Charles also received many accolades and prestigious awards for the work he did with his rabbits and his custom cars, for which he was very proud as are his friends and family of him. More importantly, he was loved and was the gentlest, most helpful, kindest, and good-hearted man. He will be missed greatly by all who were luck enough to have known him.
A Celebration of Charles' life will be held Monday, August 15, 2022, from 6:00 – 8:00 PM, at the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service, 1503 S. York Road, Gastonia, NC 28052.
