Charles John Carr

Charles "Chuck" Carr, a cherished husband, father, grandfather, and friend, passed away on January 18, 2026, at the age of 82. Born on January 28, 1943, Chuck lived a life marked by love, adventure, and an unwavering dedication to his family.

Chuck is survived by his beloved wife of nearly 60 years, Sylvia Carr, with whom he built a beautiful legacy that includes their children, Shirley (Erle) Boone and Allen Bledsoe, as well as three grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren. This family was the cornerstone of his life, and he cherished every moment he spent with them. He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Edna Carr, his sister Lucille, and his niece Peggy, who all held special places in his heart.

Known for his loving nature, Chuck was the epitome of a family man. His interests reflected his love for excitement and togetherness. He found joy in the simple pleasures of life, such as his frequent casino trips, where he enjoyed the thrill of the games and the camaraderie of fellow players. Chuck also had an affinity for all-you-can-eat buffets, where he indulged in his love of good food and good company.

Chuck's property was his personal haven, a place where he spent countless hours nurturing his land and creating a welcoming space for family gatherings. It was here that he imparted wisdom, shared stories, and made memories that will be treasured by his family for generations to come.
