Patrick was a dedicated worker who spent 22 years at Elite Cleaning Room Services in Lapeer. His colleagues were not just coworkers but a second family to him, a bond that was evident in the camaraderie and respect they shared. He took pride in his work and was a valued member of the team, always ready to lend a hand or share a laugh.

Beyond his professional life, Patrick was a true sports enthusiast. He found joy in watching the Detroit Tigers and cheering for the University of Michigan football team. His competitive spirit shone through in his love for playing pool and bowling, where he not only enjoyed the games but also the fellowship and friendly rivalry with his opponents.

Patrick was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Virginia (Hopkins) Summers, his brother Troy, and brother-in-law Bill.
