TRUMBULL: Charles R. Cetta, age 99, of Trumbull, beloved husband of the late Dolores (Iannotti) Cetta, entered peaceful rest on Tuesday, May 13, 2025 in his home. Born in Waterbury on April 27, 1926, he was a son of the late John and Katie (DiNapoli) Cetta. Survivors include his loving son, Joseph Cetta and his wife Melissa of Seymour; cherished granddaughter, Giselle Funchion and her husband Matthew of Burlington; adored great-grandchildren, Jacob and Victoria; siblings, John Cetta and his wife Rita of Watertown, and Dolores Moscato of Woodbury, as well as many nieces and a nephew, and his beloved granddog, Coco. In addition to his parents and wife, Charles was predeceased by his brothers, Joseph and Lewis Cetta. Funeral services with military honors celebrating Charles' life will be held on Sunday, May 18, 2025 at 1 p.m. in the Ralph E. Hull Funeral Home, 161 W. Church St., Seymour, CT 06483. Family and friends can visit from 12 p.m. until the time of services. Interment will be at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Charles' name can be made to the Trumbull Animal Group, 324 Church Hill Rd., Trumbull, CT 06611.
