Charles Chasing Hawk Obituary
Charles lived in St. Francis, SD with his mother until her death on May 24, 2022. After that time, he went to Cloquet, MN to live with some friends. From there, he went on to Minneapolis, MN.
Charles is survived by his brothers, Baltazar Baltazar and Tate' Ohitika Olowan Makes Room For Them.
Charles was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Dodger Chasing Hawk and Marie Spotted War Bonnett; and paternal grandparents, Victor Makes Room For Them and Rita Metcalf.
Pallbearers will be Clyde Chasing Hawk, Dylan Kills In Sight, Maurice Quigley, Jr., Marshall Kills Enemy, Jr., L.J. Lakota Big Crow, Ansel Fish, Jr., Allen Young, Jr., Mario Black Spotted Horse and Malik Metcalf.
Honorary pallbearers will be Ski Stands, Arlene Black Spotted Horse, Charlotte Larvie, Cassandra Chasing Hawk, Morris Kills In Sight, Chasing Hawk Family, Makes Room For Them Family, Black Spotted Horse Family, Stoneman Family, and All Friends & Relatives.
Wake Services: One night wake service starting at 6:00 PM, CT Friday, June 9, 2023 at the St. Francis Community Center in St. Francis, SD.
Funeral Services: 2:00 PM, CT, Saturday, June 10, 2023 at the St. Francis Community Center in St. Francis, SD
Traditional Lakota Services: Henry Quick Bear and Edward White Hat
Burial Services: St. Francis Cemetery, St. Francis, SD
