Charles William "Ernie" Cienawski, 41, passed away on August 22, 2025. He was born on September 19, 1983 in Fairmont, a son to Charles Cienawski and his companion Sharron Ball of Fairmont, and the late Patricia Marie Cienawski.
Along with his mother, he is preceded in death by his life partner, Mariah Paushel; paternal grandparents John and Rosemary Cienawski; maternal grandparents James Thomas Broadrick and Norma Louise Daft Johnson; uncle Frankie Allen Cienawski; and aunts Pamela JayDee Shumate, Tina Louise Robbins, and Cheryl Lynn Johnson.
Ernie is survived by his two daughters, Joplin and Aspen; sister Crissi Moore (Patrick) of Bridgeport; brother James Cienawski of Worthington; grandfather Charles Arlie Johnson of Worthington; uncle Randy Cienawski of Shinnston; several nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles; and special family Tim, Mary, and Megan Paushel; and Blake Sissler.
Ernie was a former Marine and did construction work. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and going to concerts.
Per his wishes, he will be cremated.
