Charles Edward Clark, Jr. entered eternal rest on Monday, August 26, 204 at the age of 75. He was a native of Philadelphia, PA and a resident of Gretna, LA. Charles was a graduate of Overbook High School. After, serving his country in the United States Air Force, he was employed as a mental health professional. Longtime companion of Rachel Mitchell. Beloved father of Charles E. Clark, III, and Aaliyah Clark. Grandfather of Alexis Clark, Charles Clark, IV, Christopher Clark, and Devon Nelson. Son of the late Charles E. Clark, Sr. and Edna L. Clark. Brother of Carlene Fulton, Collette Clark, Adrienne Jenkins, Natasha Green, Annette Rhodes, and William Clark, Raheem Clark, and the late Suleiman-Bey, George Clark, Reginald Clark, Harold Clark, Vincent Shade, and Shahid Wilson. Uncle of the late Dwaine Clark. Nephew of Nancy Brown, and Linda Thornton, also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Celebration of Life at Davis Mortuary Service 230 Monroe St. Gretna, LA on Wednesday September 4, 2024, at 9:00a.m. Visitation will begin at 8:00a.m. until service time at the parlor.
