Charles Clower Obituary

Quitman, Tx. He was born on April 14, 1948 in Mineola to the late Troy Clifford Clower and late
Gladys Godwin Clower. Charles served his country in the United States Navy for 6 years on the
USS Kiowa. Afterwards, Charles worked at Mineola Packing Company for 50 years.He enjoyed
fishing, playing softball and summer trips to Hot Springs and Broken Bow with his four children.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers Carlton and Robert Clower; sisters Barbara
Gilliand and Betty Wallace; and son Charles Ray Clower Jr. He is survived by his sisters Brenda
Scott and Sheila Pope of Lindale; brother Troy Clower of Mineola; children Justin Clower and
wife Kristen of Mineola, Ashley Gilbreath and her husband Michael of Mineola, Jessica Valek
and husband Palmer of Mineola, and Riley Clower and wife Morgan of Holly Lake; 8
grandchildren McKenzie, Lincoln, Addison, Graham, Logan, Emmitt, Ruby and Lexi.
Visitation will be held on March 30,2023 at 10:00 a.m. at Beaty Funeral Home 5320 S. State
Hwy. 37 Mineola, TX 75773. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. also at Beaty Funeral
Home. Graveside will follow at Roselawn Memorial Garden in Mineola.
